My husband, Dennis, sustained a fall at home and admitted to Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest. When the hospital recommended rehabilitation prior to returning home, I took the recommendation of a friend to come to Riverton, because it was a smaller and quaint facility. All the nurses, staff, and dietary departments were very accommodating. My husband would always tell me, “These people are so nice”. Married for 54 years, with children and grandchildren, we have built a loving and supportive family together.

Riverton’s rehabilitation team was excellent. Those girls in the therapy gym really pushed me to make sure I reached my goal to go home.
If you’re going to pick anywhere in the valley, this is the place! The staff is good people and have patience and the nurses really pay attention to Shirley. I also want to give a shout out to Ericka in Social Services and Michelle in the business office, they are always on the ball. If nursing homes had more people like them, there would be better nursing homes!
My nurses: Angie, Margaret and Nancy were fabulous! The nurse aide, George was so attentive and caring towards my needs. Nurse Aide, Andrew was great too. The occupational and physical therapy department was motivating, and they knew when to push you in rehab.
The staff at Riverton Rehabilitation is encouraging, motivating, and caring. These qualities were a requirement for me where I was going. The staff got to know me as a person.
